SUMMER CAMP FOR GIRLS ENTERING GRADES K-5 / SAN RAFAEL (Marinwood)
Calling all girls who love to sing, perform and play! Join us for exciting singing, dancing, art, new friendships and much more at this year's Summer Sings! Music Camp. With much singing and a special focus for each week, singers will learn vocal techniques while exploring a wide variety of music, performance skills, and artistic expression.
Each week ends with a Showcase Performance for families on Fridays at 2:00pm

June 13-17
Music Exploration
A little of everything! Musical theater, choral work and vocal technique, dance, arts and crafts, plus time to play and explore musical instruments. For our returning campers, this will feel like our previous years, where you have at least 4 sessions each day, exploring a different art in each. The week culminates in a sharing of our favorite songs from the week, including showing off our art projects as props or costume pieces for the musical theater numbers.
June 20-24
Musical Theater
For the aspiring singer and performer. This week, we will work more extensively on scenes and songs from a musical theater show to produce at the end of the week. The sessions will include working on dialogue and blocking, as well as a focus on costumes and set ideas. Vocal work to fine tune the songs and opportunities for soloing, too!
June 27 - July 1
Singing & Art
During this week, our focus will be singing and creating with our hands. With multiple projects through the week, some individually and some more collaboratively, we will explore many different media. One session will integrate Art with Music and Movement. We will share our finished products with our music at the end of the week.
July 11 -15
Singing & Dancing
This week, you'll have a chance to get creatively moving with lots of different dance styles, plus creating your own choreography, and improvising. We will incorporate some "choralography" into our songs, too! Some sessions will include more mindfulness, with yoga, stretching and partner work. On the last day, we will show off our songs and moves.

Vocal warm-ups and techniques for healthy vocal production
