Born on Maui, Grace Renaud moved to Marin as a child and fell in love with the Bay Area. She attended Mills College, Oakland, for both her undergrad and graduate studies in pipe organ performance, studying under Sandra Soderlund. Grace has an extensive background in dance and is proficient in piano, harpsichord, ukulele, Baroque recorder, and percussion.
After a year hiatus, Amanda Hahn returns to lead our Fresco and Giocoso choruses. Amanda, a certified Orff-Schulwerk teacher of Music and Movement, has been teaching music in a variety of Bay Area school settings for 19 years. This is her sixth year with Marin Girls Chorus; she is also currently the music specialist and director of choruses at St. Isabella School, Ross Valley Charter School, and San Rafael City Schools.
Martha Wall, Founder of Marin Girls Chorus, has taught and directed music in Marin County since 1980. A native Californian, Ms. Wall received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from University of California at Berkeley, where she studied conducting with Michael Senturia.
