Staffing Changes

MGC has undergone some recent staffing changes.  We will be starting our season with a new administrator, Lori Mogan, who will be the point person for all matters administrative.  This change comes about as we realized we need one main person to be at the top and run the chorus.  Lori comes to us from Guide Dogs for the Blind, where she has worked for the past 16 years, most recently as Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer.  She has a Masters degree in Non-Profit Management and an Undergraduate degree in Marketing.  She is a talented business professional with extensive skills in fund-raising, business development, proposal writing and project management experience.  Lori lives in Novato with her husband Ken and their two children, 9-yr-old Lucy and 6-yr-old Mason.  We are thrilled to welcome her aboard!

We have a new bookkeeper, Kris Geller, who will handle our finances and be able to answer questions concerning payments.  Thanks to Kris for taking us on!

A sad but fond farewell to our accompanists, Christine Snyder and John Metz.  Christine is moving with her fiancé to northeastern California, and John is taking on more private students.  We will miss them both!

Many deep and sincere thanks go to Laura Winnett and Debbie Coyle for their amazing and wonderful services and time they have given to the chorus. 

Denise Wharmby and Amanda Hahn will continue to work with our lower division singers (Fresco and Giocoso levels) and Miss Martha will continue to direct Arioso, Bel Canto and Chantons.
